About

After graduating from Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson) University’s Image Arts Program in 2016, I began making documentary photographs as a way to record the city’s vibrant sidewalk culture. Realizing that entire Toronto neighbourhoods had become pedestrian dead zones after local businesses and restaurants were replaced by unaffordable high rises, I knew I had preserved something essential in these images.

Relocating to Vancouver in 2022, I joined the West End Photographic Society, and began printing my work in the community darkroom. Exhibiting in one group show and two solo shows as part of the WEPS Showcase allowed me to gain confidence in my work’s merit, and cemented in my photographic practice the importance of physical media in the age of digital ephemera.

Out of over 16,000 entries, my photo was long-listed as part of Booooooom’s 2024 Photo Awards in the Street category.

Another of my images is set to appear as part of the Night Timin’ 2 zine, expected October 2025.
